1.3 You are the website user. You become the customer when placing an order. We will also refer to you as 'your' or 'the customer. Us/We/Our/Ours refers to us here at FieldLume. When you purchase from us, we become your retailer.

2. Your status & account responsibilities

2.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, should you choose to activate one with FieldLume.

2.2 You agree to be responsible for all activity that takes place under your account, which is why you must be vigilant when it comes to protecting your password and unauthorized access to your computer.

2.3 You must contact us immediately if you feel that you have any reason to believe that the security of your account may have been compromised, or if you feel that your account has been used in an unauthorized manner.

2.4 If you choose to register an account with FieldLume team, you must ensure all details are complete and correct and inform us immediately of any mistakes or changes to be made.

2.5 By placing an order on our site, or by opening an account, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts, and you are at least 18 years old.

2.6 You may not transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of a contract without our prior written consent.

3. Shipping & Deliveries

3.1 We use a separate shipping company for our goods. This means that upon shipping, the risk of loss passes to this shipping company. If you receive order confirmation, but you do not receive your goods in a timely fashion, please contact the shipping company for further details. If the shipping company is unable to help, please contact us and we shall try to help.

3.2 We cannot be held liable for delayed orders should the shipping company not arrive to collect our shipments on your order day. If this unlikely event occurs, then the order will leave us the following working day.

3.3 We cannot be held liable for any inconvenience that is caused by delays which are from the shipping company. This could include (but is not limited to) the courier re-directing a parcel to an incorrect address, or being unable to find a customer address.

3.4 Unless otherwise stated, shipping dates are not guaranteed and should not be relied upon.

3.5 Our couriers will only ship and deliver to the addressee.

4. Prices, Payment & Availability

4.1 Prices, orders & bills are displayed in AUD.

4.2 These prices are subject to change without prior notice. You will not be affected by a price change if you have already received an order confirmation email.

4.3 All item prices are exclusive of delivery charges.

4.4 If a product is out of stock, the website will display a notice and reserves the right to remove or update the product information at any time. On the rare occasion that a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you to arrange a refund or suitable alternative.

4.5 Despite our best efforts, occasionally an item on the website may be mispriced. A product will always be sold at the price stated on the website, except in cases of massive & obvious error.

4.6 Payment must be made at the time of ordering. There are a variety of payment methods. Failure to provide correct billing information will lead to a canceled or delayed order. 4.7 Our website sells to individuals who can pay with debit, credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay or other method of payment we accepted. We do not accept cash, cheque, or postal order.

4.8 Although payment is handled by a third party (PayPal), your privacy is of utmost importance. No payment card details are ever kept by FieldLume, no matter whether they are taken online or over the phone. For more details, read our privacy policy statement.

4.9 After payment has been received, you will be sent an email from us acknowledging your order. Please note that this does not mean that the order has been accepted or that we are guaranteeing supply. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy an item. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. If we do not accept your order, we will refund your payment via the original payment method.

5. Lifetime Warranty Policy

5.1 Warranty Coverage

At FieldLume Australia, we offer a 5-Year Warranty for products purchased through our Australian website after January 1, 2024. This covers defects in materials and workmanship, including the structure, built-in battery, LED, and lens clarity when used normally.

5.2 Repair and Replacement Commitment

If your FieldLume product is faulty, we will repair it with genuine parts. If repair is not possible, we will replace it with an identical unit or, for discontinued models, a current product of equal or greater value. Limited edition items will be replaced with products of comparable or superior value.

5.3 Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not cover wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or modifications. It also voids if the product is repaired by unauthorized personnel or used improperly.

5.4 Warranty Duration by Product Type

The warranty duration varies by product type. Torches and knives are covered by a Lifetime Warranty, ensuring protection for as long as you own them. Rechargeable batteries and charging cases come with a 2-year warranty, while charging cables, pressure switches, and mounts are covered for 1 year. Non-rechargeable batteries, clips, headbands, and holsters are not covered under warranty, as these are considered consumable items.

5.5 Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a claim, email info@fieldlume.com with proof of purchase and a description of the issue. Products returned after 30 days must be shipped back at the customer’s expense, but repairs are covered if the claim is valid.

5.6 Damage Assessment Policy

Items with signs of impact, liquid exposure, or severe damage will be returned unrepaired at the customer’s expense, as this usually falls outside of warranty coverage.

5.7 Out-of-Warranty Solutions

6. Returns Policy

6.1 Return Eligibility

We will refund items received within 30 days of original delivery that are unused, unopened, and in completely resellable condition with original packaging intact. All returned products must meet our "as new" standard.

6.2 Restocking Fee

Any item with removed/tampered outer packaging or damage rendering it unsellable will incur a minimum 20% restocking fee. This policy strictly enforces that we do not sell used goods.

6.3 Non-Returnable Items

FieldLume Australia does not accept change-of-mind returns for opened products. We provide comprehensive technical specifications, measurements, and access to online resources (including YouTube reviews) to ensure informed purchasing decisions.

6.4 Return Authorization Process

All returns require pre-approval. Contact our customer service team at info@fieldlume.com to initiate a return request before shipping any items back to us.

7. Feedback & Complaints
7.1 We welcome any comments about our service, whether they are positive or negative. We encourage customers to make a review of their purchase through our website. This ensures that future customers can make an informed choice with their purchases.

7.3 We aim to respond to complaints within three (3) working days. (most emails are responded to within 24 hours).

In addition, you are fully responsible for all of your actions on this website. We reserve the right to remove contents at any time, including but not limited to contents that violate the standards below. We will not be responsible for any objectionable contents you may encounter when using this website.
7.5 Violations that may cause you to lose access to this website include but are not limited to the following:

(2) harass, intimidate, obstruct or interfere with other users in any improper way;

9.1 We cannot be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control.
9.2 Examples of events that are beyond our reasonable control could include but are not limited to industrial action, civil commotion or natural disasters, or restrictions caused by acts of parliament.

It is the buyer's obligation to ensure they know their state's rules and regulations regarding knives and to make sure they are not breaking the law by purchasing knives from FieldLume Australia. FieldLume Australia will not take any responsibility for false representation by the buyer.
