Fieldlume Lifetime Warranty

At Fieldlume, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products. Eligible Fieldlume flashlights purchased from Fieldlume.com.au on or after 1 January 2026 are covered by our Lifetime Warranty, subject to the terms below.

What “Lifetime Warranty” Means

The Fieldlume Lifetime Warranty applies to the original purchaser for as long as the original purchaser owns the product.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to eligible products purchased from Fieldlume Australia through Fieldlume.com.au.

Proof of purchase may be required when making a warranty claim.

What Is Covered

Fieldlume warrants eligible flashlights against defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use.

The Lifetime Warranty covers eligible non-battery components including:

  • flashlight body and housing
  • LED
  • driver and internal electronics
  • lens
  • switches
  • structural components

If an eligible product develops a covered defect, Fieldlume will assess the product and, at our discretion, repair or replace the affected product or component.

If the original model is discontinued or unavailable, Fieldlume may provide a replacement product with comparable functionality and value.

Rechargeable Batteries

Rechargeable batteries are not covered by the Fieldlume Lifetime Warranty.

This exclusion applies to:

  • built-in rechargeable batteries
  • removable rechargeable batteries
  • rechargeable batteries purchased separately

Rechargeable batteries are consumable components whose capacity and performance naturally decline with use, charging cycles, age, storage conditions and operating conditions.

This exclusion from the Fieldlume Lifetime Warranty does not exclude or limit any rights or remedies that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

Accessories

The following accessories are covered by a 1-Year Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship:

  • charging cases, excluding rechargeable battery cells
  • charging cables
  • remote pressure switches
  • mounts

Clips, lanyards, holsters, headbands and similar non-electronic accessories do not carry a separate Fieldlume voluntary warranty.

Any rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

What Is Not Covered

The Fieldlume Lifetime Warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • normal wear and tear
  • accidental damage
  • misuse or abuse
  • use outside the product’s intended operating conditions
  • unauthorised modifications or disassembly
  • improper maintenance
  • improper charging or use of incompatible batteries or charging equipment
  • damage caused by failure to follow Fieldlume operating or safety instructions

Cosmetic wear that does not affect normal operation, including scratches, coating wear and surface marks resulting from ordinary use, is not considered a manufacturing defect.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Please include:

  • your order number or other proof of purchase
  • the product model
  • a description of the problem
  • clear photos or video showing the issue where reasonably possible

Fieldlume will review your claim and provide the next steps.

Please do not send products to Fieldlume without receiving return instructions first.

Warranty Claim Shipping Costs

Where Fieldlume confirms that a product has a defect covered by this warranty, Fieldlume will cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs within Australia.

If inspection determines that the product does not have a covered defect, or the issue was caused by circumstances excluded from this warranty, any additional return or inspection costs will be discussed with you before they are charged.

Australian Consumer Law

This Lifetime Warranty is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Effective Date

This Lifetime Warranty applies to eligible Fieldlume products ordered from Fieldlume.com.au on or after:

1 January 2026

Orders placed before the Effective Date, if any, remain subject to the warranty terms applicable at the time of purchase.
